Weight decides the crew
Most basic gun safes weigh 250 to 600 pounds, mid-range ones up to 1,000 pounds, and the biggest home safes around 1,500 pounds (moveBuddha). The same guide's rule of thumb:
- Under 250 pounds: two people.
- 250 to 400 pounds: at least three.
- Up to 500 pounds: at least four.
- Over 500 pounds: professional safe movers.

Our pricing has no "one item only" size, so a safe on its own is priced as our smallest move: a studio apartment's worth of time for a 2-person crew (about two and a half hours), their trip to you, and a set amount for the kit and care a safe needs. In the quote, pick Studio if the safe is the main thing moving.

A Saturday brings the ground-floor job to $605-$705. Booking within 48 hours costs a little more. We are closed on Sundays.

Do you open, unlock or repair safes?
No. We move safes. For a lock or a stuck door you need a locksmith or safe technician.
How do I pay?
A $80 deposit by card holds your slot on the ground-floor job and is refundable up to 24 hours before. The rest, $465-$555, is paid to your pro when the safe is in place.
