What we collect when you get a price or book a job, who sees it, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

When you book a job or ask us to call you back, we keep what you type into the form:

We also keep your IP address with each booking, call-back request and pro application. With a booking we keep the time, your browser type and the exact wording of the text message box, as a record of what you agreed to.

Photos are made smaller on your phone before they are sent, which also removes the location a phone camera stores in a photo. We delete photos automatically after a year.

If you apply to work with us, we keep what you put on that form. If you leave a review, we keep your rating, what you write and the name you give. We read every review before it is shown on the site.

Who sees it

Text messages

We only text you if you tick the text message box when you book. Reply STOP at any time and we will stop.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use, so we can make the site better. They record things like the pages you visit, what you tap, your browser and device, and roughly where you are, worked out from your IP address. They use cookies or similar browser storage to tell one visit from the next.

Neither one gets your name, phone, email or street address. Google Analytics does get the ZIP code you price a job in, and the booking reference in the web address you come back to after paying. Before anything goes to PostHog, we blank out ZIP codes and booking references in web addresses. PostHog does not run at all if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Neither tool runs on the contractor job board or on our admin pages.
