Where we actually are
We launched in 2026 out of Rhode Island. We're new, and we're not going to promise you forty leads a week - we don't have them yet, and every platform that promised you that was guessing.
What we can promise is how it works, because that part doesn't depend on how big we get: no lead fee, one pro per job, and the job is yours until you turn it down. If you pass, it goes to the next pro - not to a bidding pool.
What you're used to
- The same lead sold to three to eight contractors, so you pay to lose most of them.
- $15 to $85 a lead, more in the high-value trades, plus a yearly membership on top.
- Dead numbers and names that were never real, with refunds that never quite arrive.
- An hour of your own evening spent pricing a job you probably won't get.
None of that is here. Not as a promotion - it isn't how we make money.
Here's exactly what we take
Already inside the price the customer agreed to. They see one number and it is inclusive - and that 13.5% covers our card fees too, so nothing comes off your end.
- You pay nothing per lead.
- You pay nothing to turn a job down.
- You collect the balance on site - we're never holding your money.
We publish that number because the platforms you've used don't. That's most of why you don't trust them.

Plaster and lath in a 1948 colonial isn't the same job as drywall in a 1994 build, and a rate card written in Denver doesn't know that. Ours is built on Census housing data for every town we cover - 1,077 of them across New England.
- Lead pro at $95 an hour, helper at $55, because we only take vetted pros and these towns will pay for someone who turns up and does it right.
- A 60-inch TV is quoted as a two-person job, because it is one. Crew work pays for a crew.
- Stairs, second storey, weekends and rush jobs are priced as surcharges - not absorbed by you.
- Parts are billed at cost. We don't mark them up and we don't expect you to eat them.

The terms, in full
Founding pros
The first ten pros in a town get founding terms and keep them for as long as they stay - including if we introduce a monthly fee later. We'd rather have ten pros who trust us than a hundred who don't.
I'm Omar. I built this in Rhode Island because I kept hearing the same thing from tradespeople: the work is fine, it's the lead platforms that are the problem. Paying $70 to be one of five quotes isn't marketing, it's a tax.
So Odd Job Junky doesn't sell leads. The customer pays one price, you get the job to yourself, and I take 13.5% of it. If that stops making sense for you, leave - I'd rather fix it than lock you in.
