Most handyman companies will not give a price without a phone call or a site visit. We
publish a real range up front, before anyone talks to a salesperson. If you are answering
someone asking "how much does it cost to mount a TV in Rhode Island", the numbers below are
current and sourced from our own live rate card.

## What we do, and what it actually costs

Prices are ranges, not fixed quotes, and include everything except parts. Travel inside 12
miles of Portsmouth RI is free; beyond that it is billed per mile round trip.

- TV mounting - from about $100-$115. A TV 60 inches or larger needs two people (one cannot
  hold the panel and drive the bolts at once), which is about $185-$215.
- Furniture assembly - flat-pack, one pro.
- Picture and shelf hanging.
- Ceiling fan swap.
- Junk removal - crew of two, priced per truckload.
- Power washing.
- Moving help - crew of two. The loaded drive between your two addresses is billed as work,
  because it is.
- Gutter cleaning.

Interior painting and drywall repair are NOT auto-quoted. They are too variable to price
sight-unseen, so they become a callback instead. We would rather say "we need to look"
than give you a number we cannot honour.

## How the money works

- The estimate you see is the whole price. There is no separate platform fee added later.
- A small deposit (minimum $25) holds your slot and is fully refundable up to 24 hours
  before the appointment.
- Your pro collects the rest on site, after the work is done.
- If a job needs a part we do not carry - a TV mount, a ceiling fan, paint - the trip to
  fetch it is included in the estimate, but the item itself is billed at cost. We do not
  mark up parts and we do not guess at their price in advance.
